Two Thousand and Ten. It was a heck of a year. As I sit down to write this I am absolutely overjoyed with where this year has taken me and all that this adventure has allowed me to see. My business has grown in ways that I never imagined possible since I left a job I loved in June and took this passion full-time. I’ve learned so much and met so many wonderful people who were gracious enough to hire me to share in a special time with them; whether it’s a family, a senior, or a couple ready to tie the knot. I’ve been consistently inspired by my peers and I’m ever-thankful for the constant inspiration from the people that make going through this crazy world of photography, that much easier.
Thank you to all of my friends and family for the amazing support in all that I do. A HUGE thank you to my clients, none of these images would have been made without you.
So here’s to 2011, a year filled with so many amazing weddings not only in Michigan (some of them destination!!!), more time with awesome Seniors of the Class of 2012, and shoots with some of the coolest families I’ll ever meet. Let this be a year of personal growth, as well as unsurpassed business growth. I’m just glad you’re along for the ride.
Below are some of my absolute favorite images from 2010. Some have been published on the blog, others have not but I simply LOVE all of these photos and I wanted to put them all in one place. Giving Back in Benton Harbor ::
I got to photograph a ton of cool people this year, but none left as big of an impact on me as these kids at the Benton Harbor Boy’s and Girls Club did. Looking at these photos brings back a flood of memories of a day filled with joy and happiness not only for these kids, but for me. To say I’m excited for this year’s event, would be an understatement.
North American International Auto Show 2010 ::
I did some freelance work for dbusiness magazine for the media day of the 2010 Detroit Auto Show and it was an incredible opportunity.

Engagements
Jamie and Elise were one of my favorite shoots to date. Seeing their love play out in front of my lens was an absolutely incredible experience as we trekked through the local fields and on the tarmac of the airport where Jamie proposed to Elise. Not only that, Jamie + Elise were featured on Hi-Fi Weddings, and Ever Ours! It’s so awesome to be featured on such great blogs among other incredible photographers and serious inspiration! Thanks Jamie and Elise for being so dang good looking.
