This is a family that means so incredibly much to me, its as simple as that. I shot Chandler + Jessica’s Wedding, and everything else in between. Watching them learn and grow together as a family brings me such indescribable joy and seeing one of my best friends turn into an awesome husband and father has been awesome to see. I’ve known the Boardways for quite a while. I first met their Dad, Ron as a fellow leader for the 4th and 5th grade students at my church and I can’t get over how great this family really is. Over time I got to know the rest of the clan and I’m sure glad I did! As you’ll notice below, Shelly and Ron made some good looking kids! I got to meet up with this awesome family in Northville a couple of weeks ago and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of their photos for this year and for the announcement of their beautiful new baby girl Caraline. She was just over two weeks old at the time of the shoot which is the reason why she was completely asleep the entire time! What an awesome morning it was out in Farmington Hills! I met the B. Family (including their grown children and their families) at an awesome park that was new to me. I had the privilege of snapping some pictures of this wonderful family for my first family shoot of the year, and boy was it fun! Little 5 Year-Old Jaden started talking my ear off as soon as I walked through the door. I couldn’t help but laugh because seriously, does it get any cuter than her? Then there was the new little baby, just two weeks old, not 100% interested in the photoshoot but a champ nonetheless. We didn’t even have to end up venturing any further than their own backyard for the shoot as Jaden and Dad were just having way too much fun.
