Being chosen to document the incredible time in a teen’s life, known as their Senior year is right up there with the honor that comes along with documenting a wedding day. Getting invited into the family, even if only for a couple hours is such a humbling experience. This time around I got to document not only Randal, but the rest of his family as well and it was worth every second. The Mill’s family does it right. » Expand Post

Nothing feels or looks as good as Detroit on a warm late-summer night. Quinn made that quite clear. » Expand Post

My camera just loves seniors, it’s as simple as that. Jordan was just a special addition to the class of 2013 that has been rocking my camera so far this fall. Seriously guys, this girl dances, sings, acts, and excels at all of the above. She’s incredible. Not to mention simply a blast to hang out with and both her and her Mom kept me laughing the whole evening. That’s why my “job” is never a job, it’s people like this that keep me coming back for more. » Expand Post

The other morning I set out to the city of Detroit to join Sarah and her Mom for a senior session/tour around the city. Seriously guys, this family is one of the best there is, and I’ve been privileged with taking photos of all three daughters at some point in time, which is just about the best thing I could be honored with.

Sarah freaking rocked this shoot, am I right? Heck, she didn’t even bat an eye at the ridiculous locations I dragged her into. Enjoy just some of the awesome frames we made that day, and be on the lookout for part 2 in the coming weeks as I head to Kentucky to join her at the Lexington Horse Park. That’s what I call a rad senior session. » Expand Post

Evan is a ridiculously rad kid. He is an awesome drummer, a killer skateboarder, and just an all-around cool dude. A session like this is why I love working with Seniors so much. They’re down for anything (see: walking through abandoned lots with tons of glass, nails and dirt) and in turn they get some fun photos to remember their Senior year by. And THAT, to me, is worth every second. » Expand Post

She’s a Senior. And she’s pretty dang rad. I love working with people who just know how to rock the camera the second they’re in front of it. Thank you, Brittany! » Expand Post
