AND… we’re back! After the craziness that is the Christmas season we’ve made it out to the other side. It was such an incredible time spent with family, friends, and church and I wouldn’t trade a second of that time off for the world, but I’m ready to be back at it and SO excited to be sharing this wedding with you today. You may remember Kelly and Matt from their ridiculously cool engagement session in Grand Rapids a couple of months back. Yeah, they’re pretty great. » Expand Post
It’s 10 minutes before you’re supposed to walk down the aisle, guests are in their seats in a stunning outdoor venue overlooking a lake with some breathtaking scenery. It had rained earlier but the seats were wiped off and ready to be occupied. But then it comes again, first one drop, then two, then it starts to pick up a bit more and the recently seated guests are starting to look around for some direction on where they should head. Most brides would be freaking out at this point, I mean rain in August? Come on! But it is after all the state of Michigan and you truly never know what you’re going to get. Luckily Rebecca and Scott were one of the coolest, most fun-filled couples I’ve had the pleasure of coming in to contact with. There was rain? No problem, move those guests inside to their seats and let’s get married in the reception room. Besides, at the end of it all they were still going to spend the rest of their lives together, no matter the venue where they said their vows. » Expand Post
They may very well be one of the best couples on this earth. Not only that, but their family means SO much to me. One of my best friends is Taylor’s brother, Chandler. I got to shoot his Senior Pictures and his Wedding. The Welling/Immerfall clan has supported me through my entire career and it’s something I’ll always be incredibly grateful for. So to have the chance to travel to Orlando to document Taylor + Natalie’s AMAZING wedding? Well that’s just a dream come true. » Expand Post

It was such an awesome day. The beautiful U of M campus, the farm animals, the friends, the croquet, the dance party. You can’t ask for a more beautiful wedding than that. Rachel and Ben brought the fun. » Expand Post
I don’t even know where to begin with Adam + Mary Kate’s wedding. The whole weekend was a party, simply in celebration of the love these two share, and Nick and I got invited along for the ride. The wedding took place on this awesome little farm in rural Massachusetts with the amazing ceremony site you’ll see below, surrounded by huge pines (and pooping birds). Follow that up with an awesome dance/karaoke party with your closest friends, later followed by S’Mores around a campfire and I think you have a recipe for an amazing wedding. » Expand Post
Alright, it’s no secret that I’m a guy, therefore the word “cute” isn’t part of my normal, every-day vocabulary. HOWEVER, Sam and Erin hit that word right on the mark. She’s a photographer and He’s going to Moody in Chicago to become a pastor! They had a midday wedding outside at The Dearborn Inn followed by a punch reception strolling the grounds and it was so, so beautiful. Watching the two of them, simply being in love and smitten by one another was inspiring and made me more and more excited for my own wedding
